The CAF library provides an important group of resources for Christian education, spiritual growth, and enjoyment.  Currently there are approximately 2,500 items in the collection not including back issues of magazines.  Additions to the library are made possible by the church budget, memorial gifts, and  materials donated by church members.

The adult collection is located east of the foyer on the same floor as the sanctuary.  It includes the following categories:  Audio tapes, Bibles, biography and autobiography, College Ave. Friends archives, commentaries, devotional aids for daily reading, education and youth, essays and poetry, fiction, fine arts, grief, health, holidays, home and family, humor, inspiration, large print, magazines, men’s interest, missions and evangelism, peace, prayer, Quaker authors, Quakerism, reference, social concerns, stewardship, and videos/ DVDs.

All items are available for check-out for a suggested period of two weeks, except those in the reference section which are for use in the church building only.  A library reading table in the foyer highlights different aspects of the collection each month.

The children’s collection is located on the third floor near the Sunday school classrooms.  Books and videos/DVDs may be checked out for a suggested period of two weeks.  These resources are also used in Sunday school classes and for children’s presentations during the worship service.

The Little Free Library (see page) is located on the south side of the Iowa Yearly Meeting park across from the church.  Books are included for both children and adults, and usage is not restricted to church members/attenders. Anyone from the neighborhood may exchange one of their books for a book in the Little Free Library.  This library is part of a national registry of Little Free Libraries located throughout the U.S.
